Camp Google: What’s it all about?.

Google is offering a free weekly series of fun interactive science activities throughout the summer. It blasts off this week with a week about oceans. So far, they  have weeks planned about music, nature, and space. Camp Google is designed for ages 7 to 10, but younger students can participate with parental assistance. You will need common household items to complete some of the science activities. This is a printable list of the supplies needed by week. https://storage.googleapis.com/gweb-camp.appspot.com/pdfs/camp-google-supplies_1507101027.pdf

Camp Google was designed in partnership with Nat Geo, the National Park Service and Khan Academy. Professionals in various disciplines participate and interact with students during the live streaming events.

This is a great interactive way to keep kids engaged and enthusiastic about science over the summer. I love that there are hands on activities that the whole family can do together as well. If you happen to miss a week and are just now finding out about this program, all the content is available to you on the website.
Recommended for age 7 to 10.
