i Learn With Boing: Ocean Adventures! for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad on the iTunes App Store.

Ocean Adventures is the seventh in a series of top rated educational preschool apps from the award winning developer, i Learn with Boing. This app focuses vocabulary, listening comprehension and sentence formation. You can download this app for free right and unlock the full version for $0.99. i Learn has made their entire app collection for available for $0.99. They are well worth this paid app price. These apps are normally $1.99.

This app uses engaging animated games to teach language skills. The app allows you to track up to four different players and adjusts in difficulty as your child masters the various skills. The fun rewards section will also help keep your child motivated in their learning. The app also has a detailed report tracking that lets you see your child’s progress and success across all their apps. Plus, there are no intrusive ads to avoid.

Highly recommended for 3 to 6. Don’t miss out on this one or picking up other i Learn apps.

Old MacDonald HD – by Duck Duck Moose for iPad on the iTunes App Store.

Do not miss out of this fabulous award-winning book app (for iPad and iPhone) geared for toddler from one of my all-time favorite app developers, Duck Duck Moose. This is a highly interactive app with 3 dozen activities designed around this age-old favorite Old MacDonald. The app can be listened to in multiple languages and various musical instruments as well. You can even record your child’s voice. This app is normally $1.99 but is currently available for free download. Duck Duck Moose apps are rarely ever discounted or free.

Duck Duck Moose makes several apps that we really love: Fish School (ABCs, numbers, colors), Park Math (early math) and Word Wagon (early phonics and spelling) which are all well worth the $1.99 paid app price. I highly recommend any of these apps.

Recommended for ages 18 mos and up.
