Today’s app shout out is for Baby Mars math app for iPad only. It is normally $3.99, but it is free right now for download. I am pretty sure that this app was developed in Asia (by a few parents), but I can’t place exactly what country I am hearing although I am leaning toward Japan. Some of the grammar is a bit off in the game, which I expect with apps coming out of Asia with non-native speakers. I am okay with that since it is a free app.
This oddly cute math app has varying levels of difficulty and is aimed at ages 2 to 8. There are 5 fun mini-games that you are supposed to master in order to help Baby Mars restart his rocket ship. The app teaches counting, sequencing, greater/less than concept, and basic addition and subtraction. The games are fun enough that your kid will enjoy them while simultaneously learning math concepts.
